The Longer Version
Hi, I'm Jim. I'm dad to twin teenage boys, an East coaster, an ex-Portlander/Oregonian, and nerd. By day, I'm a web developer and I spend most of my time writing PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. By night, I tinker with this blog, play too many video games, or hunt for retro Jordans (though I haven't bought any new ones in quite a while).
I was born and grew up in eastern Pennsylvania and moved west in 1996. I bounced around between southern California, Portland, Australia, the Bay Area, and Boston over the years before returning to Portland in 2002. In June 2017, I moved back to the town I grew up in and bought a house, mostly due to the insane housing prices and cost of living in Portland. I currently live in Tamaqua, PA with my girlfriend, her 3 kids (and occasionally my twins), and our 2 dogs.
