Weekly Recap #13

Week of October 19

📱 I’ve been thinking about upgrading my iPad Pro even though I said I wasn’t going to.

🩻 I had another appointment with Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery on Wednesday and I’m frustrated af.

🎨 I made a few small adjustments to the site theme colors for better readability. On the home page, blog page, and about page, the theme now changes randomly (if you are in light mode) instead of always defaulting to the “newsprint” theme. Individual posts still use the color defined in their YAML front matter for now — I haven’t decided if I want to randomize those yet.

🎮 I posted a handful of Battlefield 6 clips to YouTube. I need to get in the habit of posting there more regularly again instead of uploading a bunch at a time.

🍛 On Saturday, we drove an hour and a half to a Costco in Harrisburg because that location supposedly had the Jones Soda Vaultec Supply Pack in stock (our local Costco was sold out) and Melissa — whos is a huge Fallout fan — wanted it. Unfortunately, we got there a little too late and the pallet it was on was already empty. It wasn’t all bad, though; we picked up some things we needed and got a head start on Christmas shopping for the kids. On our way home, we stopped to pick up my mom and took her out for Thai for dinner. It was a long day, but a good one.
