Weekly Recap #3

It’s a fairly short one this week…

Week of August 10

🔫 I’ve been playing a ton of the Battlefield 6 beta and it’s been mostly good. There are definitely some issues they need to fix before release, but it’s on the right track.

👟 I found a sweet pair of Dunks that were on sale to get me through the rest of the summer:

📱 iPadOS 26 is finally starting to grow on me. Legibility seems to be much better in beta 6¹, and most of the annoyances I had with early builds are gone and it seems to be pretty stable on my iPad Pro thus far. I’ve also been running macOS 26 on the MacBook Air and I’ve updated that to beta 6 as well, but haven’t used it anywhere near as much as I’ve used iPadOS.

📼 Cassette is my favorite new iOS app in a while. It’s so good that I gave it its own post.

🎙️ Podcasts typically aren’t my thing, but I’ve started listening to Friendship Material by @keenan and @cygnoir, and it’s great. I just finished the first episode, but I’m looking forward to catching up with the rest.
