Weekly Recap #24

Week of January 4-11

👨‍💻 I’m back to work this week after being on PTO since mid-December, and I’m kind of starting to realize that I don’t really want to do this tech thing anymore. Unfortunately for me, I’m old af (51), I have no other marketable skills, and this is how my bills get paid. Even if starting over were an option, I don’t think I know what I’d actually want to do.

🌐 Xfinity came out on Tuesday and installed my fiber connection. It’s 2 gig down — and up — and it’s fast af.

🫩 Ugh. I’m mentally fucking exhausted. It’s been a miserable week. Mentally, this is the worst I’ve felt in quite a while. I’m struggling with pretty much *flails arms wildly* all of it. I’m just over everything and everything is pissing me off.

🐻 My Bears won a crazy game in Chicago against Green Bay and advance to the next round of the playoffs next week. Go Bears!

📱 After 3-ish months with the iPhone Air, I did… a thing 😬 More on this in a coming post.
