I’ve never met a dog as obsessed with lightbeams, reflections, and shadows as Moose. I took these photos shortly after I woke up this morning. The sun was shining through the window and making a reflection on the bed from my phone, and my boy was very concerned that it might attack… or something.

Shortly after this, he pounced (like full on 4-legged cat pounce) at it and almost landed on my head. He’s 130 lbs, so it’s a good thing he missed 😳

Moose is 5 years old today. He’s derpy as shit, but he’s a huge baby and the sweetest, gentlest giant (not kidding, he’s 130 lbs) ever.

Nothing like a 136 lb German Shepherd trying to make you feel better by laying on top of you when you’re sick ❤
