Weekly Recap #37

Another short one this week. My life is pretty boring ๐Ÿ˜‚

Week of April 5

๐Ÿš— Earlier this week as Melissa was opening the garage door to go to work, the pin that attaches the J-arm to the track snapped off. I ordered a new pin from Amazon to try to reattach it, but canโ€™t get up high enough on my ladder to reach it to try to fix it (my garage doors are massive โ€“ like 20โ€™ tall) so I called the guy that fixed both doors back in August. Heโ€™ll be here Monday morning at 10 to fix it. Ugh, the bullshit never ends.

๐Ÿ’ป I found the old Mac mini and monitor that I bought my mom back in 2006 (the 1st Intel version) in the top of a closet and plugged it in. It still works! Itโ€™s running the last version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and it makes me miss old Mac OS X.

Sorry for the shitty quality, the awful monitor doesnโ€™t photograph well

๐ŸŒ† On This Day is a new app from Florian Grossman that surfaces photos taken on todayโ€™s date in past years. It is absolutely fantastic and has quickly become one of my favorite apps. Check it out and download it from the App Store.

๐Ÿง”โ€โ™‚ I cannot wait for my beard to grow back. A week in and itโ€™s itchy af and driving me nuts. Itโ€™s been a long time, but if I remember right, I have about 3ish more weeks of the itching before it settles down ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

๐Ÿงฉ We had to go to Costco to do our grocery shopping, and I noticed they had the LEGO Flowering Cactus set on sale for $20. It was $40 at Target last week so Iโ€™m glad I waited!
